They were sadly murdered in a cruel manner same day

Gender Based violence in the country is a huge concern. In the recent few years now, it has been brought into the spotlight because of how the rate has gone up and it has became a priority.

The country has been on a battle to try end or atleast minimize the rate of gender based violence and the killings of women and children, without any progress.

A woman is killed every four hours in the country, which means women in the country are more likely to be victims of femicide than to die a natural death, its very sad that the country is slowly becoming a very unsafe place for women to live in.

Men that are partners, relatives and even strangers have been previously reported as perpetrators. Some of which are men who were most trusted by the women that they killed.

Many women died in hands of men that are supposed to protect them and make them feel safe.

A 32 year-old woman named Annemique Manho was sadly killed on the same day with her 2 year-old daughter Almique Manho, and this was done in a very cruel manner.

According to the source, the two victims were found dead in their home, Melkhoutfontein in Western Cape.

Annemique was with multiple stab wounds and the little Almique was found in a bath of water. The suspect was arrested and is currently in police custody.

Hope the person responsible for this cruelty, pays for this, all their life.

People can be heartless and cruel, not only did a woman get stabbed to death, a 2 year-old was also killed.

It is a scary world that we live in, every day women live in fear, asking themselves and wondering if they could be next or who is next?.
